The Japanese Government Scholarships 2010 for Japanese Studies & Teacher Training

The Embassy of Japan is pleased to announce that the Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho:MEXT) Scholarships for Japanese Studies and Teacher Training is now open for application until 2 March 2010. Qualified Malaysian nationals who would like to pursue their studies in Japan are invited to apply.

The Young Leaders' Program (YLP) aims at fostering future national leaders in Asian and other countries. In addition, while deepening the participants' understanding about Japan, it should help form a network among national leaders, contributing to the establishment of friendly relationships and improved policy planning activities among Asian and other countries, including Japan.

The YLP is one of the Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho: MEXT*) Scholarship Student systems.

Public Service Department Scholarship

Public Service Department (PSD) scholarship is the scholarship offered by the ministry of higher education to students who have excel in the studies as a reward to their continuous hard work in the academic field. PSD Scholarships are being awarded to excellent local students in fields such as Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Engineering and Science and Technology.
Scholarships are also awarded to excellent students in the Ministry of Education’s polytechnics.
