Yayasan Tenaga Nasional 2010 (UNITEN)

Yayasan Tenaga Nasional (YTN) invites qualified Malaysians to apply for scholarships to pursue tertiary education at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) for the year 2010 intake. Yayasan Tenaga Nasional (YTN) will offer a small number of scholarships and education loan for students with excellent results to pursue the Foundation and Degree courses at Universiti Tenaga Nasional.

Fields of Study
Engineering Foundation:

• Electrical Power Engineering
• Electrical & Electronic Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Computer Science

Non-Engineering Foundation:

• Information Technology
• Accountancy
• Finance
• Business Studies

Eligibility

• Not more than 19 years of age in year 2010
• Active in co-curricular activities
• Possess strong personality and leadership qualities
• No other sibling currently receiving scholarship from YTN
• Passed SPM 2009 with obtained at least A- in English and Mathematics and at least a B+ in 4 subjects according to field of study as follows:
  
  • Engineering course:
    Bahasa Malaysia, Additional Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
  • Non-engineering course:
    Bahasa Malaysia, and any 3 subjects as follows:
    Additional Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry / Biology / Prinsip Akaun / Perdagangan / Ekonomi Asas / Sejarah / Geografi / Pendidikan Islam / Pendidikan Moral / Bahasa Arab Tinggi / Bahasa Arab (Komunikasi) / Tasawwur Islam / Pendidikan Al-Quran dan As-Sunnah / Pendidikan Syariah Islamiah
