Yayasan Proton Scholarship Award 2010/2011

PROTON Holdings Berhad through YAYASAN PROTON would like to invite Matriculation/Diploma students entering Degree Program for the year 2010 and 1st year Degree Program students in helping deserving individuals to realize their dream through education.

Fields of Study

• Engineering (Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechatronic, Software)
• Accountancy / Finance / Economics / Marketing
• Business Administration / Management
• Information Technology

Eligibility

• Students must possess excellent SPM examination results, including distinction in BM, English and Mathematics
• Students must not be recipients of other sponsorship/loans/financial assistance from any other organization or educational institutions
• This scholarship is valid only for Malaysian citizens pursuing related Degree at local public or private universities only
• Students will be bonded and must be willing to serve PROTON for a specified period upon completion of studies
• Final selection will be based on interview or assessment

There are 3 Scholarship Programs / Categories:
1. Student with Academic Excellence

• CGPA of 3.5 and above
• Possess strong leadership traits and good communication skills/proficient in English
• Active in extra-curricular activities

 
2. Students from Deserving Family

• CGPA of 3.0 and above
• Family income of less than RM1,500 per capita

 
3. Student who are Children of PROTON Employees

• CGPA of 2.8 and above
• Parent/(s) must served PROTON for more than 3 years

Value of Scholarship
- Full acedemic & tuition fees
- Subsistence allowance of RM6,000 per annum
- Laptop / Notebook
- Paid internship / attachment program
