UCSI Sports Scholarship Awards

This UCSI Sports Scholarship Awards is available to students with outstanding sports achievements. Successful applicants who are state athletes will be awarded a 25% tuition fee waiver while national athletes will receive a 50% tuition fee waiver.

Eligibility

• Open for Malaysian only
• Awarded to full time students of UCSI who are either State or National athletes
• Candidate is required to fulfill UCSI University minimum pre-requisite academic criteria
• Verifications by sport associations are required
• The final Decision to award the UCSI Sports Scholarship is at the sole discretion of UCSI

Terms & Conditions

• The Scholarships cover tuition fees and internal examination fees at undergraduate degree, diploma or foundation levels only
• Scholarship awards are limited to tuition fees and does not include external moderation or examination fees
• Recipients of this scholarship should at least pass with the minimum grade required by the respective faculties at UCSI University and maintain their sports achievements at State or national level
• Recipients of the scholarship are required to serve and contribute towards the furtherance and promotion of sports activities at UCSI University, and participate Community Services inclusive of conducting sports clinics
• UCSI University reserves the right to revoke the said scholarship if the Sports Scholar does not maintain discipline, attendance and good behaviour in UCSI University
• All information furnished by the scholarship recipient must be true and correct in all aspects. The Scholarship is liable to be withdrawn without prior notice if inaccurate information is furnished. In such event the scholarship recipient will be required to pay UCSI University the amount of tuition fee waived, up to the date the scholarship is withdrawn
• Qualified candidates must represent UCSI University in MAPCU games or any other tournaments as and when required by UCSI University
• The Sports Scholarship will be reviewed annually
• UCSI University reserves the right to amend the policies and terms of the scholarship without prior notice
• All sports scholars must abide by the Rules and Regulations of UCSI University
