Tunku Abdul Rahman Scholarship

Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman invites applications from suitably qualified Malaysian citizens to apply Tunku Abdul Rahman Scholarship. This scholarship was established to commemorate contribution of Almarhum Y.T.M. Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj as First Prime Minister and Father of Independence of Malaysia. Applicants will be selected from students who are successful through a rigorous selection process.

Eligibility

• Applicants must be Malaysian citizens below the age of 25 years old before the closing date.
• Completed second semester of the first year study at college/university.
• Got the result with CGPA 3.5 and above during first and second semester in the first year study at college/university.
• Possess excellent academic records at SPM/ STPM / Matriculation / Foundation
• Distinction in Bahasa Malaysia and English in SPM level
• Applicants must good in leadership and active in co-curriculum

Value of Scholarship
Full tuition fee, RM1,000 living allowance per month, RM500 textbook allowance per semester, project or experiment allowance and airplane ticket allowance per annum.

Bonding
5 years services or contribution to the county upon after the completion of the study
