Sunway University College Sports Scholarships

The Sunway University College Sports Scholarships is awarded to students with outstanding sports achievement at the state and national level. Malaysian State Atheletes and National Athletes will receive a 25% and 50% tuition fee discount on all Sunway University College programmes respectively.

Eligibility

• Sports affiliated with Olympic Council Malaysia.
• Awarded to full-time students of Sunway University College who are State or National athletes (2 years prior to joining Sunway University College-year 2008).
• The Sports Scholarship is open to Malaysians only.
• Verification by State or National Sports Association.
• The final decision to grant the scholarship is at the sole discretion of the Scholarship Selection Panel of Sunway University College.

Terms & Conditions

• Qualified candidates MUST represent University College in MAPCU games or any other tournaments as and when required by the University College Management
• Sports Scholarship athletes must maintain good grades
• Athletes are required to maintain their sports achievement at state or national level
• Athletes are required to contribute at least 15 hours per year on conducting sports training and workshop.
• The Sports Scholarship is reviewed on a yearly basis. Scholarships can be revoked based on the discretion of the University College.

Value of Scholarship

• 25% discount in tuition fee for State Athletes.  
• 50% discount in tuition fee for National Athletes.
