The Star Education Fund - Undergraduates Scholarship 2010

The Star Education Fund, established by Star Publications (M) Bhd since 1994 with the primary objective of providing educational opportunities to deserving young Malaysians, invites eligible candidates to apply for The Star Education Fund Scholarships Awards 2010 (Undergraduate) to pursue full time undergraduate studies at local public universities in the following disciplines:

Fields of Study

• Undergraduate Degree in Advertising / Communications
• Undergraduate Degree in Accounting / Finance
• Undergraduate Degree in Business / Economics / Statistics
• Undergraduate Degree in Mass Communication specialising in Creative Writing / Media
• Undergraduate Degree in Graphic Design

Eligibility

• Be Malaysian citizens of not more than 25 years of age as at 1st January 2010
• Possess good academic records (STPM or equivalent)
• Possess strong leadership qualities through active participation in extra curricular activities
• Not be bonded to or in receipt of any financial aids from other educational institutions or organizations
• Have gained admission to the local public universities for approved course of study

Value of Scholarship
RM7,500 per academic year
(Note: Tenable for the minimum period required by the recipient to complete the course)

Bonding
Successful candidates may be required to serve Star Publications (M) Bhd upon completion of their studies
