Leader Scholarship 2010

Leader Universal Holdings Berhad is inviting Malaysian students with a positive attitude and leadership qualities who intend to pursue their study in any of the following discipline to apply for the Leader Scholarship 2010.

The objectives of the Leader Scholarship are to promote higher education by offering scholarships to qualified students of Malaysian citizenship who are pursuing full time degree courses in local public universities, to provide the opportunity to such individuals to achieve their full potential and assume leadership positions to contribute towards the nation’s economic development. The Leader Scholarship is also about alleviating the difficulties of the needy families  by helping to defray their financial obligations.

Fields of Study

Eligibility

  • Malaysia citizens
  • Not more than 21 years of age
  • Excellent SPM & STPM (or equivalent) results
  • Proficient in written & spoken English
  • Leadership qualities in sports or extra curricular activities
  • Good communication skills
  • High degree of initiative, maturity and enthusiasm
  • Candidates who participated in community work will have added advantage
  • Obtained admission into either UM, UKM, USM or UTM for full-time undergrad degree (mechanical, electrical, electronic, Industrial and manufacturing)

Bonding
Successful applicants Leader Scholarship must serve the company or its subsidiary for a period of time immediately after graduation.
