The Embassy of Japan is pleased to announce that the Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho:MEXT) Scholarships for research student is now open for Malaysian students who wish to study at Japanese universities as research students for the academic year 2011.

The Malaysian-American Commission on Educational Exchange (MACEE), in cooperation with the GE Foundation (USA), invites applications for the 2009/10 GE Foundation Scholars-Leaders Program open to qualified undergraduates who gain admission into Malaysian institutions of higher learning in the field of Business, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics and Physics at local universities.

The Embassy of Japan is pleased to announce that the Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho:MEXT) Scholarships for Japanese Studies and Teacher Training is now open for application until 2 March 2010. Qualified Malaysian nationals who would like to pursue their studies in Japan are invited to apply.

Higher Opportunities for Private Education (HOPE) Programme

The HOPE programme is established to coordinate the placement of students who are unable to secure a place in local public universities in Malaysia (IPTA), into academic programmes offered by local private universities, university colleges and approved colleges (IPTS).

Indonesian Scholarship - Darmasiswa Program 2010 / 2011

The government of Indonesia has offered scholarships to Malaysian students who wish to study bahasa Indonesia, traditional music, dance and traditional crafts of Indonesia for 2010/2011 Session at universities around Indonesia. DARMASISWA is a scholarship program extended by the government of the Republic of Indonesia to foreign students from countries with which Indonesia has friendly relations. Participants can choose one of 45 different universities located in different cities in Indonesia.
