GAB Foundation Scholarship 2010

The GAB Foundation Scholarship 2010 is now open for Malaysian students who wish to study at local or foreign universities. GAB Foundation’s Scholarship Scheme aims to provide financial assistance to deserving students, who are enrolled or have yet to enrol for their certificate, diploma or undergraduate studies.

The scheme aims to assist bright Malaysian students to pursue their higher studies in their chosen field, at their chosen level, in the categories of courses we support. In ensuring education for all and in the true spirit of giving, our scholarships are free from bonds or obligations on students.

The scholarships are awarded to students pursuing the following courses :

• Accounting
• Business
• Engineering
• Business Communication
• Media Management
• Public Relations
• Environmental Management
• Computer Science
• Food/-Laboratory Science
• Biotechnology
• Chemistry
• Finance
• Marketing
• Co. Secretarial
• Human Resources
• Law
• CIM & Professional Degrees – CIMA, ICSA, ACCA,ICAEW
• MBBS

Eligibility
Applicants must be Malaysian citizens.

• The scholarships will be awarded to students who are financially deserving and have excelled academically. 
• Applicants must have obtained at least 6As in the SPM examination, 4 principals with a minimum of 2As in the STPM/’A’ Levels examination or must have completed Matriculation/Diploma/Foundation/Pre-University programme with a minimum CGPA of 3.5.
• Applicants who are active in sports and/or extra-curricular activities will have an added advantage.

Value of Scholarship

• RM10,000 per year per successful applicant for undergraduate studies in a local private university/college or foreign university/college
• RM7,000 per year per successful applicant for undergraduate studies in a local public university/college ;
• RM4,000 per year per successful applicant for diploma or advanced diploma courses ; or
• RM2,000 per year per successful applicant for certificate courses.

• Please complete the form and upon submission, the Scholarship Selection Committee will review all applications. Shortlisted applicants will be called for interview with the Independent Trustees and will be required to bring original and copies of their certificates during the interview. DO NOT submit or attach certificates along with your online application.
• Online applications must reach us not later than 22 May 2010. Late applications will not be entertained.
