The Chinese University of Hong Kong Scholarhip

A number of scholarships funded by the Hong Kong Government as well as private donations are available for international students commencing full-time undergraduate studies at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in September 2010.
Eligibility
Candidates are eligible to be considered for the Scholarships if they
- are from a country outside of Hong Kong;
- are not residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region;
- have applied for and been offered a place by an undergraduate programme of the University for entry in 2010; and
- are able to meet the current costs of the undergraduate programme, in excess of the scholarship amount.
Tuition fee for international students for the academic year 2010-2011 is HK$100,000* (approx.: US$12,850).
Value of Scholarships
The value of the scholarships may vary from HK$30,000 to HK$125,000 per year. Some awards are renewable on an annual basis and tenable for up to the duration of undergraduate studies undertaken by the awardees at CUHK, subject to continued satisfactory academic performance.
Application Procedures
All international applicants will automatically be considered for the scholarships once formal admission offer have been given. Shortlisted candidates may be required to submit further information on financial circumstances.
