2010 Tun Dr. Mahathir ELS-TESOL Internship Scheme

The Tun Dr. Mahathir ELS-TESOL Internship Scheme is now open for final year university students in a TESL/TESOL degree programme.

The Internship Scheme, set up in 2009 with the aim of providing adequate training and employment opportunities for young Malaysian English language teachers, will provide students with a RM4,500 scholarship, a 3-month internship and immediate employment as an English Language instructor at ELS Language Centres, Malaysia, upon successful completion of the internship.

Eligibility

• Malaysian citizens
• Age 21 years and above
• Final year undergraduate of a TESL/TESOL programme
• Possess good academic qualifications and should be active in school
• Is not bonded by other scholarship awards
• Minimum CGPA score of 3.2
• Preferably with recommendation from lecturer

How to Apply
All applications must be made on the official application forms of ELS Language Centres, Malaysia. Completed forms should reach ELS Language Centres Management Office on or before the closing date at the following address:
